FIA 8859-2024 for helmets, snell sa2025

Engineered to meet the latest FIA 8859-2024 & FIA 8860-2024 homologation. The FIA is mandating a visor locking system that can be easily accessed and released by someone other than the driver. The system has to function effortlessly with a driver or other personnel wearing gloves.

In addition, FIA 8859-2024 mandates a locking system that secures the visor when in a half inch open position - allowing some ventilation with relief from visor fogging.

All BELL Racing helmets that are built to the FIA 2024 homologations (carbon or composite) will sport the SmartLock™ visor locking system.

NOTE: Helmets that are both SA2025 and FIA 8858-2024 rated will sport Bell’s SmartLock™ Those helmets which are purely Snell SA2025 rated may not.
