Pro Racer is Recaro’s premium product for pro-racers and built to the FIA 8855-1999 standard. The shell was specifically designed to comfortably accommodate FHR devices. Driver comfort is further enhanced with Recaro’s ‘S’ curve spine technology. Sit in a Recaro and you will immediately feel the difference. The shell’s built in head guard features shock absorbing foam to limit lateral head movement in the event of an accident.
The Pro Racer shell is manufactured using a strong and rigid glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) and come is two sizes - standard and X-Large. The FIA-homologated side brackets (sold separately) have multiple adjustment slots to fit different body heights.
