Racequip Chevron-1 SFI Race Suit

The Chevron SFI 3.2/1 layer suit. The suit is made from Pyrovatex® FRC material and exceeds the SFI 3.2A/1 rating. This fire retardant cotton based (FRC) material is used because it retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level with proper care the suit will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment. Note, racing series organization do not permit single layer suit unless the suit is worn with a full set of SFI or FIA complaint underwear. However, this suit is ideal for pit crew members and those track day participants who are safety-conscious and/or wish to protect their clothing.
