TECHNICHE Hybrid Cooling Vest Powered by HYPERKEWL & COOLPAX

$207.00

A new cooling vest with two patented options to cool you. The vest offers both Techniche’s HyperKewl™ PLUS* (evaporative) and their Cool Pax™* (ice pack) technology for longer and more flexible, body cooling options. Highly recommended for motocross riders, cyclists, race car drivers and any athlete working to improve their performance and minimize the affects of heat fatigue and heat stress.

Driver and/or technicians can decide how best to use these options to maximize the effects - together or separately. However, evaporative cooling is not recommended to use under another garment, including suits.

  • HyperKewl™ PLUS* is a combination of specialized fabric and fibers which utilizes a unique chemistry to achieve rapid absorption, stable water storage, and enhanced evaporation. The technology can provide an average cooling of 10-15°F/6-8°C cooler than the ambient temperature (depending on airflow) Evaporative vests are great for cooling between track sessions. The vest can be soaked in water, then squeezed out. The subsequent evaporation can keep bodies cool for hours.

The Cool Pax™ option involves adding the Techniche cool packs to the vest at a cool (but not cold) 58° F. This will keep your body comfortably cool. To “freeze” the gel packs simple place them into a cooler of ice water for about 20 minutes and they will stay cool for a few hours.
