The Sparco Shield RW-9 series of underwear offers the lightest weight of any technical, fireproof underwear on the market today. Using a circular-spun fabric layout, seams are kept to a minimum, helping the RW-9 balaclava achieve a close but minimal feel. Note, how few intrusive seams exist on this balaclava as compared to other brands.
All Shield RW-9 pieces are treated with Sparco X-Cool Silver which draws heat from the body surface to cool the driver. In addition to cooling the driver, X-Cool Silver treatment has an anti-bacterial effect.
