The Sabelt Spine complies to the new FIA 8855-2021 standard. The homologation brings the seats 60% closer to the demands of the advanced racing seat FIA 8862-2009 but at a reduced cost.
The Sabelt Spine fiberglass shell achieves its increased strength with an innovative, weigh-reducing rear spine design.
To comply with the FIA homologation the Spine must be mounted with the specific Sabelt side mounts.
