The RS7 LTWT is even lighter than the RS7 Carbon helmet. The RS7C LTWT was developed in collaboration with Penske Racing to reduce weight and enhance airflow for use in NASCAR. Penske challenged Bell to produce a SNELL SA helmet incorporating advanced airflow, enhanced energy management capability to be used with or without ear cups in an ultra light-lightweight configuration and race-ready under 2,795 pounds. The RS7 series is based on the HP7 design and featuring an ultra light, aerospace carbon composite shell with a distinctive matt finish. Constructed using Bell’s high-pressure proprietary molding system, the RS7 Pro uses an innovative shell and shield design to improve acoustic comfort, aerodynamic performance, with increased energy absorbing capabilities. The included Double Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) shield is a driver’s favorite.
