ZAMP Z-20 Photochromatic Prism Shield
No need to change your helmet shields when the light changes. We saw these work at the PRI show - and were impressed. These photochromatic (light-changing) helmet shields are exclusive to Zamp. The shield are UV light sensitive. They smoothly transition from a clear prism to a red, blue or gold prism as the light intensifies on the track and then reverses when the light darkens. One shield works for night or day!

Zamp does not recommend using Racing Optic Perimeter Seal Laminated tear offs on Coated Shield (including ALL Z-20 and Z-24 Prism Shields). They can have a reaction which can potentially damage the shield or shorten the longevity of the shield. The standard non perimeter seal have no issue
Tear Off Note: If your tear offs are not allowing the photochromatic to work, it is because the tear off or adhesive is blocking the UV light. Z-Optics Tear Offs do not block UV light, allowing the photochromatic shields to work. Z Optics Tear Offs are available at: www.racetearoff.com
